B.F.A. Thesis project, demonstrating the merits of design research and the importance of defining a specific problem statement. Focus: “Women’s reproductive health in developing countries.” Building on the pre-existing CDK (Clean Delivery Kit), I designed a single-use biodegradable umbilical cord cutter to alleviate the occurrence of tetanus during childbirth.
